Enter for septic

A backed-up system is not an inquiry that can sit in an inbox.

Enter answers on your website, finds out what is happening and how urgent it is, and sends you a lead with the address and a time window.

Where septic stands today

Septic is one of the services in Enter's plumbing pack. If you are a plumber who also takes septic work, switch it on and you are running today.

If septic is your whole business — pumping, drain fields, tank work, inspections — one checkbox inside a plumbing pack does not describe what you do, and we would rather say that than sell it to you. A proper septic pack is on the list.

What it will ask about

This is the list we are building for dedicated septic work. Today, "Septic" is a single service inside the plumbing pack.

  • Backed up or slow drains
  • Tank pumping
  • Drain field problem
  • Tank or system replacement
  • Inspection or certification
  • Alarm going off
  • Something else

Instead of your contact form

The same visitor, recorded twice.

Two records of the same website visitor, side by side. The contact form
caught a name, a partial email address and the words 'need service',
leaving most of the card empty. The Enter capture is a full dispatch
slip: the visitor's own words about a water heater leaking in the
basement, a phone number to tap, the address, same-day urgency, a
preferred and a backup appointment window, and the service.

When it cannot wait

Someone typing “sewage backing up into the house” is not filling in a form.

Enter recognizes the situations that cannot wait, shows your number and tells them to call it rather than typing out an address.

What it will and won't say

The useful part is what it refuses to do.

You are putting something on your website that talks to your customers while you are not watching. So the first thing worth knowing is where its edges are.

  • It only quotes prices you have written down.

If you have not given it a price for a job, it does not have one. It will not estimate, guess, round, or reason its way to a number from something else you said.

  • It declines work you do not do.

You choose your services. A job outside them is turned away politely rather than booked and cancelled a day later.

  • It knows when you are open.

Your hours decide what it is allowed to promise. It will not tell someone you will call within the hour at 11pm, and it does not pretend you are at your desk when you are asleep.

  • It never confirms an appointment.

It asks when they would prefer someone came, and records a first choice and a backup. It will not say booked, confirmed or scheduled, because only you can do that.

“Someone will call you at eight to fix a time.”

  • It never invents an answer.

If it does not know, it says so and tells them a person will follow up. That is the whole behavior — there is no clever fallback underneath it.

Three things the agent says instead of guessing. Asked for a price,
it says the cost depends on what they find and whoever calls back
can talk it through. Sent a job the business does not take, it says
so plainly and wishes them well. Told about something that cannot
wait, it stops asking questions and shows the emergency line.

Your next inquiry is going to arrive while you are busy.

It takes one line of code and a few minutes of telling it what you do. Your first 10 leads are free, and there is no card to add.
